These
are a few of the coil baskets I've made
recently. They are all under four inches
(10cm) in height, and the green one in
the upper left was made using my handspun
yarn.
A dyed, handspun, handknit
shawl I made. All wool used in the shawl was dyed
with some combination of purple.
Warp-faced belt handwoven on an inkle loom
using a wide variety of mostly turquoise yarns.
This necklace or collar was
knitted with handspun yarn, and includes wooden
beads throughout the body of the piece and
interspersed in the fringe.
A
multi-colored sweater with unique neckline.
Ceramic Peruvian beads hang from the front of the
sweater (removable for easy washing), with
matching earrings.
The sock montage... The pair in the
upper left corner (brown and red) were knit with
my handspun yarns; the rest were simply for fun!
A few samples of
material using the wax-resist method of dyeing known as "batik".
Here is a
small sampling of some of my handspun
yarns, several of which are sun dyed as
well.
