2 C. rice
1 lb. hamburger
C. Romano cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
1 can tomato paste
1 can water


  Brown hamburger in large iron skillet.  Add tomato paste and water.  Simmer together for 2 hours.  Cook rice.  Mix all ingredients together after rice has cooled.  Shape portions of the mixture into oval shapes about the size of a large egg.  Dip the supplis into a batter of two eggs and bread crumbs.  Fry the supplis in skillet, turning each one periodically until brown.
