Breakfast Casserole

1 box hash browns with onions
1 qt. hot water



Pour hot water over potatoes and let stand for 10 minutes.  Drain water from potatoes.

T o potatoes, add:
            5 beaten eggs
            1 C. Swiss cheese (cut in small pieces)
            C. cottage cheese
            1/8 tsp. pepper
            4 drops Tabasco

Mix all the ingredients with a spoon.

Line bottom of 10-inch pie pan or 13 x 9 square pan with cooked sausage or bacon.  Pour potato mixture over sausage or bacon.  Place in refrigerator overnight.  Place in cold oven at 350 for 40 minutes.
