Winning Objective:  To be the first player to run around the house 3 times without getting caught moving.

Description:
One person is chosen to be ‘it’, which I will call the ‘chaser’ and the rest are ‘runners’.   The Chaser and the Runner travel in opposite directions.  A starting point is chosen, usually one corner of a house.  The Chaser is facing the Runners, and starts the game off by passing them.  Once past, the runners begin making their way around the house, at whatever speed they feel it is safe to travel.

The Chaser moves around the house in the opposite direction, also at any given speed.  It is the Chaser’s job to spot movement from the Runners.  If they see movement, they call the Runner on it, and the Runner’s lap counter is reset to zero, and does not begin going up until they reach the original starting point, and complete 1 lap again.

The Runners’ job is to anticipate the arrival of the Chaser and stop their motion until the Chaser has passed them by again.

As the Runners travel around the house, the distance between Runners often spreads out,  sometimes by just a few feet, and other times by a greater distance.  So, when the Chaser passes the lead Runner, they must start running until they have passed the last runner as well.  This keeps the game flowing.

The first Runner to pass the original starting point for the 3rd time, without getting called out by the Chaser wins the round and becomes the Chaser the next time.
